2026-2027 Committee Chair Vacancies

**Any of these chair positions can be done in teams as co-chairs and will also work with committees & board members

Harvest Fest Chair (Oct. 22)- Plan and organize our Fall Harvest event including Trunk or Treat, Pumpkin Painting & Costume Contest. Handle food sales, booking DJ, and managing volunteers during event.

Holiday Shop Chair (Dec. 7-11)- Work with our supplier Peppermint Lane to order gifts for the Holiday Shop, manage parent volunteers, advertise for the shop, and restock gifts throughout Holiday Shop week.

4th & 5th Grade Talent Show Chair (Jan. 27)- Plan the after school talent show for 4th/5th grade, supervise in-school rehearsals, compile background music files, decorate/advertise for the event & secure MC.

Family Fun Night Chair (April 4)- Plan a family fun night such as (ie. concert, bingo, a comedy show, a carnival etc.) decorate/advertise for the event & manage volunteers.

MLK Day of Service Chair (Jan. 14)- Organize a small school-wide philanthopic activity on MLK Day (ie. socks stuffed with personal care items)

Teacher Appreciation Week Chair (May 3-7)- Work with our Secretaries and Hospitality Coordinators to plan a week of fun treats and events for our teachers.

4th Grade Committee Chair- Run the 4th Grade Scarecrow making event in October & Assist the 5th Grade committee with the Shady Grove Showdown.

Arts Committee Chair-  Assist our Art & Music program throughout the year, including: Art Show, Winter & Spring Concerts, and School Musical.
