ROOM PARENTS
Being a room parent is one of the most rewarding jobs in the HSA! Room parents are the liasons between the classroom teachers and our HSA. They get to work up close and personal with the teacher and the students in their assigned classroom. As a room parent you will:
- help organize classroom parties and collect supplies
- chaperone field trips
- create the class yearbook page
- collect money for teacher gifts at holiday time and end of year
- check-in with teacher about current classroom needs and create sign-ups for supplies
- attend general HSA meetings whenever possible
- share upcoming events & announcements with other parents in your class
